Breeder of Quality Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Aariel Ridgebacks is a breeder of quality Rhodesian Ridgebacks protecting the legacy of the breed while moving it forward.  We are an AKC Breeder of Merit following the AKC H.E.A.R.T. Program.   We are proud of our winning tradition and have taken top honors in American Kennel Club competitions and have bred dogs who have ranked #1 in the United States.

The puppies we breed make loving family pets.  We also do sell tremendous show, performance, or therapy dogs. We prioritize health, temperament, ethics, and conformation and are proud members of the national breed club, RRCUS, following their ethics policy.  We are proud that all of our breeding stock have the coveted CHIC health certification.

The AKC notes that Rhodesian Ridgebacks are strong, athletic dogs who require a moderate amount of exercise, and they can adapt to various living situations.  Although the breed was made famous in its native Africa for its skill at tracking and baying, but never killing lions, today Ridgebacks are cherished family dogs.
